The procedure for establishing a person in video conferencing mode greatly facilitates the process of documenting citizens. It was introduced under the conditions of martial law. It is too useful for people who, as a result of hostilities, did not receive a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in time instead of the lost one.
So, recently to the Pechersk Department of the CMU of the DMS in the city. Svetlana Ivanovna, who came to Kyiv after the start of the war on February 24, 2022 from the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk, appealed to Kyiv and the Kiev region. She expressed a desire to obtain a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card instead of a lost passport of a citizen of Ukraine (book).
By means of video communication with relatives (sister and husband) living in Ukraine, but for various reasons could not come to Kyiv, the staff of the unit identified the identity of the applicant.
