The National Police held the release of polygraph specialists
The event was attended by the Head of the National Police Igor Klimenko, his first deputy Mikhail Kuznetsov and the head of the Department of Strategic Investigations Valentin Kopayev.
The event is dedicated to the tenth edition of police polygraphologists who received basic training in the center of polygraphologists of the criminal police, which works on the basis of the departments of operational and technical measures and strategic investigations.
During the month, instructors taught the students a basic course in polygraph research in accordance with the latest recommendations of the American PolygraphasAssociation (APA). The course is adapted to the needs of the police, the criminal unit and the work of law enforcement officers in the conditions of the legal regime of martial law.
Another unit was added to the curriculum, needed during the war. Having mastered this special knowledge, polygraphologists will be able to identify persons involved in sabotage and collaborative activities. The course consisted of two parts: the study of the theoretical base and the application of the knowledge gained in practice.
The head of the National Police presented certificates to the graduates and congratulated them on the successful completion of the educational process.
“I congratulate you on the next stage of preparation, there is a lot of work ahead. A polygrapher should be impartial in his work and know the psychology of the criminal,” Igor Klymenko addressed the graduates.
Also, the leadership of the police noted the work of the employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations, who from the first days of the war, together with other units, became the defense of the country.
“We are one big team. We protect, serve and - most importantly - bring victory closer,” the head of the National Police said.
