International training started at the National Academy of Internal Affairs
On October 24, training in demining, tactical medicine and robotics management was opened at one of the locations of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, with the assistance of the American company Osprey.
Among the guests of the event are the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk, the President of the American company “Osprey” David L. Grange, representatives of the State Emergency Service, the National Guard, the National Police and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In her introductory speech, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk emphasized the importance of organizing such trainings, because it is an opportunity to exchange experience:
“I wish this training to be of the highest quality, so that friends from America, from Poland will also get acquainted with our experience, which cannot be obtained in America or other countries of the world. And that undoubtedly we, dear friends, become stronger with you, harden against a terrible, insidious enemy! As a result, thanks to our fighters and friends from all over the world, we will be able to quickly celebrate Victory! Glory to Ukraine!”
In turn, Rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, First Rank Police General Volodymyr Cherney noted that today's realities form increased requirements for the level of skills and competencies of the national security and defense forces.
This is especially true for the soldiers of the combined assault units and special forces, policemen, rescuers, soldiers of the State Border Service and the National Guard, who perform combat tasks and law enforcement functions directly on the front line, in the frontline zone and in the de-occupied territories.
It is known that among the participants of the training are representatives of the National Police, the State Emergency Service, the State Border Service, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Transport Service, the MoU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the GUR of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The program in each direction takes into account world and national practices. With a condensed schedule of classes, their term is 2 working weeks. In the program of medical training — the development of interaction skills in the use of drones in combat to provide assistance, to deliver medicines to the wounded, to determine the location of the wounded, etc.
In the course of in-depth explosives training — elaboration of the methodology for using drones and robotics for reconnaissance of mined territory, checking the premises for the presence of traps, discharge of ammunition and explosives from a drone. Among the training activities are also working on scenarios of battles in trenches and trenches, demining the field, organizing ideas of operations in urban development, etc.
