The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko announced this during the Forum “Ukraine. Year 2024”.
“We are engaged in the development and production of drones together with business entities, with private enterprises and actively the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs uses these drones on the front line. This applies to both reconnaissance and strike drones,” said the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko.
The General Staff confirmed that our unmanned forces destroyed enemy vehicles by more than $5.5 billion, the Minister noted.
“Here we are already talking about innovation, about strategy and tactics of use, including unmanned systems on the front line. We do not count one on one, but we count tactically and strategically how many enemy vehicles we need to destroy,” said Igor Klymenko.
In addition, the Coordination Center for the use of REB and RE resources of the relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system has been established.
“Now we are working on the deployment of a regional network, which, together with other components of the Defense Forces, will be involved to protect critical infrastructure facilities,” the Interior Minister said.
