Congress of Veterans and Business Associations Held in Kyiv
The participants discussed topical issues and problems of reintegration of veterans into society, involvement of Ukrainian business representatives in helping veterans, as well as the development of the state in new realities and in post-war times.
“Today we plan to unite the efforts of the veteran business community, which is becoming very influential, and the business, on which, in particular, the cause of victory is held,” explained one of the organizers of the event in the past, a successful businessman and now a soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine Serhiy Poznyak. - In our opinion. “The cooperation of business and veterans has the necessary resources, capabilities, knowledge and experience to support the military, as well as to achieve high results in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.”
Among the guests was the Hero of Ukraine, a soldier of the Northern Operational and Territorial Union of the National Guard of Ukraine Dmitry Finashin. In his opinion, one of the key topics that must be considered and already addressed in society is the topic of inclusion. “If a person has an amputation of one limb, then he is more likely to be able to give himself advice in everyday life than one who does not have two legs. In order for an employed veteran to get a job, it will be necessary to create such an opportunity in advance. So that he can not only leave his own entrance, but also drive onto the sidewalk or into transport. It is clear that this is one of many important issues that will have to be solved, but the equipment of the ramp will be relatively inexpensive and will help significantly,” Dmytro Finashin addressed the audience.
The results of the issues and decisions discussed during the Congress, as a common voice of Ukrainian business and veterans, will subsequently be presented to political authorities, civil society and international partners.
