More than five hundred rescuers, policemen, athletes, families of prisoners of war and just lovers of cycling took part in a charity bike ride in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and prisoners of war Azovstal.

The bicycle ride was initiated and organized by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in cooperation with the NGO “Veloden Kyiv”, the city authorities and the Patrol Police.

The main goal of the sports action is to support the families of prisoners of war and to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There were no restrictions on age: the youngest participant in the bike race was 10-month-old Gordy, who participated in the event with his dad. The oldest is 64-year-old Viktor from Kiev.

The amount that was collected is almost 180 thousand UAH. This money will be used for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
