In the m. Balakliya, which was under enemy occupation for six months, on the basis of the 42nd State Fire and Rescue Unit opened the first Safety Class in the area. This project aims to create a culture of responsible attitude towards their own safety in children.

On the first day of the class, an offline safety lesson was held. It was attended by children who had experienced the horrors of Russian captivity, and learned about the war from their own experience.

Teachers were professional rescuers, representatives of juvenile prevention and emergency medical care, who taught children safety rules and methods of providing home care. So students learned a lot of useful things in the field of fire safety, realized the danger of explosive objects, learned to distinguish them by appearance, and also gained skills to help victims in case of limb fracture, bleeding, loss of consciousness, etc.

At the end of the safety lesson, rescuers distributed printing products from the UN Children's Fund UNICEF Ukraine to the children, which will constantly remind them of the need to comply with safety rules.
