In Chernihiv guards found almost 270 pills of narcotic drugs
At the stationary post “Kipti”, during the inspection of vehicles, Chernihiv guards drew attention to two citizens who were in a Mercedes-Benz minibus. The men were stunned when they saw that law enforcement officers were approaching them. They answered questions reluctantly and visibly nervous.
During a superficial check, citizens were found to have a considerable number of medications. The name on the stickers indicated that these drugs were classified as narcotic, issued by special prescription and strictly accounted for. The men could not explain the origin of the medications and did not provide medical prescriptions that allow the use of the drugs as intended.
An investigative and operational team was called to the scene, which transferred the detainees to further clarify the circumstances. The total number of withdrawn amounted to almost 270 pills.
