Exhibition “Prayer in Sculpture” was presented in the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
On the territory of the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine there was a presentation of the exhibition of the Ukrainian sculptor Alexei Leonov “Prayer in Sculpture”.
The exhibition was organized on the initiative of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the state institution “Main Medical Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Department of Health and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Podolsk Cultural and Educational Center. M. Roerich.
“Today, when Russia is waging a full-scale war against Ukraine, we should not forget about a bright and promising future. Art encourages us to develop and be creative. The project “Prayer in Sculpture” is designed to raise the morale of our servicemen and law enforcement officers, in particular those who have been injured and are being treated in the hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” said the Director of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine during the opening of the exhibition Yashchuk.
The exhibition of sculptures will last until November 6 on the territory of the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The exposition includes 22 sculptures and 16 photographic works. Anyone can visit the exhibition.
One of the ideas of the project is to draw attention to eternal values on the example of sculptural images of majestic spiritual enlighteners and leading historical figures of Ukraine.
Alexey Leonov is a famous Ukrainian sculptor and member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. More than 200 solo exhibitions of the author took place in Ukraine, Europe, USA, Canada, South America, China, Mongolia and Japan.
