Three employees of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs dismissed due to exceeding official authority
The rector of the university appointed an official investigation, in which the internal security officers of the National Police are involved. The collected materials will be transferred to the State Bureau of Investigation as soon as possible for study.
Today, February 24, a video was posted in one of the Odessa public libraries, in which a cadet on the territory of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs performs physical exercise. Also on the site at this moment there are three men in uniform, one of whom is filming the cadet on a mobile phone.
It is preliminarily established that the employees of the departmental university exceeded their official authority. Rector of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs decided on the immediate release of the defendants. In addition, an official investigation has been launched to establish all the circumstances of the incident. Also, the legality of the actions of employees is checked by the internal security of the National Police. All collected materials will be transferred to the SBI.
