Guard DJ is 34 years old. He was mobilized during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February last year. He now serves as an air scout in the 15th Slavic Regiment.

“As soon as the war (full-scale invasion) started, I immediately decided to go to the army. He chose the call sign for himself, because he worked as a DJ for several years. And due to the fact that I have two higher educations, one of which is related to IT technologies, I got into the air intelligence unit,” says the guard.

The DJ received special training as an air scout. He has the skills of working with reconnaissance equipment, knows the basics of navigation and target recognition. Its task is to collect information about the movement of enemy forces, the location of objects. Each mission requires concentration, accuracy and the ability to react quickly to changes in the situation.

“The most difficult thing in the work of an air reconnaissance officer is to find a place from which we will observe the enemy. The commander gives the specified coordinates, and we must already see the place from where we will launch drones imperceptibly. The Russians have drones more dangerous than ours. First of all, these are their “Eagles”. Their intelligence also works quickly, the enemy cannot be underestimated,” the military said.

He, in turn, also speaks positively about the efficiency of the DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters. The guard admits that drones are the “eyes” of the military, without them there will be no correct operation of artillery.

As you know, the guards of the 15th Slavic Regiment of the NGU are part of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. They have been courageously and professionally destroying the Russian occupiers in the eastern territories since 2014.
