Warmth, connection and comfort are the main requirements of the Points of Inviolability, - Denis Monastyrsky
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs once again inspected the Points of Inviolability, which are deployed on the basis of the State Emergency Service, and examined their contents. Such Points are stationary and mobile, and they are created to overcome emergency situations caused by worsening weather conditions, as well as during power and heating outages.
To date, 1008 Points of Inviolability have started work in Ukraine, of which 157 are mobile. There, in addition to warm and comfortable conditions of stay, visitors are prepared for drinking water, hot tea and cookies, a basic set of medicines and hygiene products, as well as power and communication points, so that everyone can restore the charge on their smartphone and call their relatives. For the youngest employees of the State Emergency Service created play corners with cognitive literature.
“We have made a conditional passport of the Inviolability Point and are working to ensure that the appropriate content is in each item. It has to be a generator so that people can come and warm up, but it has to be outside the tent. Because there are cases in Kyiv and Odessa region when people were poisoned with carbon monoxide. There should also be power points where people can recharge their gadgets. Depending on the tent, the points should have from 20 to 50 outlets that can simultaneously serve visitors. That is, warmth, connection and comfort are the main requirements of the Points of Inviolability”, - emphasized Denis Monastyrsky.
According to the Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Sergey Kruk, since the beginning of the functioning of the Points of Inviolability, about 95 thousand citizens have used the following:
“In general, mobile points are in demand. Every day we increase their number by 20-30 units, taking into account the presence of tents. We are also working on providing Internet connection, since today this issue has been solved by 80%. Depending on the situation, we provide Points with the Internet via Wi-Fi, optical fiber or Starlink.”
