This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on his Facebook page. He also added that they can shelter almost 1 million participants in the educational process.

While on a business trip to the East, Yevgeny Yenin visited his native school in Pavlograd. He talked with the teachers who taught him, remembered his years of study and did not forget to check the civil defense defenses.

“When I was five, my military father was transferred from the Dnieper to there. I thought it had been 25 years since I finished it. It was nice to meet my teachers there. In my home class, they talked with them about today's realities. Of course, I also asked about the state of the shelter,” the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine noted.

After the inspection, Yevgeny Yenin appealed to the school administration, local authorities, specialists of the State Emergency Service to do everything possible to ensure that the school shelters meet the stated safety standards.

“If we all make efforts together, we can organize the educational process as safely as possible for our children. Parents will have the choice of how to teach the child, remotely or offline. The task of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is to create safety for children. We plan to check the territory of educational institutions for the presence of explosive objects, provide enhanced security there, conduct special trainings, even a mobile application for children, so that they can learn in a convenient format how to behave during emergency situations,” Yevhenii Yenin said.

According to him, today 11 percent of educational institutions have their own civil protection structures. This is almost 3,000 establishments.

“Therefore, almost 1 million participants in the educational process can hide in them. Almost the same number of educational institutions conducted commission surveys and organized shelters in their own buildings. We still have a lot of work to do,” the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine summed up.
