Situation on the Western Border over the past 24 hours
During May 4, 70,000 people and 17,000 vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova.
Last day, 40 thousand people left Ukraine. 26 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
Over the past day, 30,000 people arrived in Ukraine, 26 thousand of them are our citizens. 57 trucks with humanitarian aid were also registered.
For the attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine, 8 people were detained — 3 of them tried to cross the border illegally at the checkpoints, another 5 people were detained outside the designated crossing points.
In addition, 5 men of Ukrainian conscription age were not allowed to leave the country, as border guards found signs of forgery of their documents giving the right to cross the border. In the actions of men there are signs of offenses provided for by articles 336 and 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
We emphasize that the passage of adult citizens of Ukraine is carried out on foreign passports, as well as other, provided for by legislation and international treaties, documents and in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of January 27, 1995. N 57.
