Systematically prepared and easily passed the selection: Volyn volunteer will replenish the ranks of the assault brigade “Fury”
Andriy Legenkiy is one of hundreds of civilian volunteers who have been selected for the combined assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Lut”. In the relatively peaceful Kovel in Volyn, the man worked as a system administrator. But then he sees himself only in defense of the country.
He says that he had such an intention at the beginning of winter, then he was selected for the police unit “Safari”, but decided to join the “Fury” brigade.
“Parents do not know anything yet, they guess at work, and the wife knows and supports,” says Andrei.
Volynyan has high motivation, is engaged in sports, owns weapons, has completed drone control courses, passed all stages of selection without problems, because he systematically and thoroughly prepared. He says that he has a lot of acquaintances from “Safari”, and many of the guys with whom he trained together in his hometown have already traveled to different units and are serving.
“The quantity is not as important as the quality of the fighters. People who want to go, who understand the service have to go. Anyone who feels this strength and ability must go,” Andriy is convinced.
