Russian Terrorists Shoot Rescuers Arriving at Enemy Attack Destruction Sites
The Russian army once again proves that it does not comply with any international conventions by deliberately attacking rescuers trying to save people from the consequences of enemy shelling.
According to the information of the State Emergency Service since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the enemy on the territory of Ukraine, 78 employees of the State Emergency Service were killed, and another 280 were wounded.
It is worth noting that the Geneva Convention protects firefighters during war, because they leave to rescue people and provide assistance. However, Russian terrorists are grossly violating these agreements.
So, recently, the occupiers shelled a high-rise building in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. To eliminate the consequences, representatives of the State Emergency Service and the police were sent to the scene, after which the enemy struck again.
According to preliminary information, 7 people died, including the deputy head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Donetsk region Andrey Omelchenko. Another 82 people were injured.
In addition, the Rashists also fired on rescuers in Kherson. Emergency workers extinguished a fire in St. Catherine's Cathedral as the occupiers struck again. As a result, four employees of the State Emergency Service were injured.
