The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine visited Dnipropetrovsk region on a working visit. In the region, Igor Klymenko met with police officers, awarded the “For the Defense of Ukraine” award from the President of Ukraine and took part in the ceremony of handing over an armored car.

The state award was received by five police officers from different police departments. Among them are those who daily serve in the Kherson region and Donetsk region. These policemen work at the sites of missile strikes, document the consequences of attacks in the face of constant threat of repeated shelling, record the crimes of the occupiers. They also help victims of shelling, provide evacuation of people.

Also, the Minister of Internal Affairs awarded law enforcement officers of Nikopol. They serve in the frontline city under artillery strikes and drone attacks. In addition, despite the constant danger and frantic pace of work, they managed to solve a resonant serious crime in a short time - the murder of the deputy mayor of Nikopol. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted 9 police officers of the Nikopol RUP. They received badges “For Distinction in Service” and regular special titles.

In addition, Igor Klymenko together with representatives of the Public Organization “Important Actions” handed over an armored car for the needs of law enforcement officers of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

“The car is armored and is designed to transport personnel, prisoners of war and detainees on suspicion of committing a crime. For the safety of our policemen, one such car will be in the Dnipropetrovsk region. I hope that it will save more than one life of our law enforcement officers,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
