Spokeswoman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: All culprits will be held accountable for the tragic consequences of failure to enter the shelter

All responsible persons will be punished for the tragic consequences of not being allowed to shelter in the Desnyansky district of the capital, where three people died during the shelling by the occupiers - a local resident and a mother with a child of 9 years old. Mariana Reva, director of the Department of Communications of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, announced this on the air of the United News marathon.

Also, the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs added that two criminal proceedings have already been opened: under Part 2 of Art. 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — (Service negligence that caused serious consequences) and according to Part 3 of Art. 135 CCU (Leaving in danger that led to the death of persons).

“Based on the findings of the investigation, all perpetrators will face 2-5 years in prison or up to 8 years in prison. We will work, it is a matter of control,” said Mariana Reva.

In addition, the director of the Department of Communications of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the SNS and the National Police will organize joint spontaneous raids, which will be aimed at checking all bomb shelters in Ukraine.

“If you notice closed shelters, then immediately report to the police, each of these facts will be recorded and an appropriate reaction will follow,” says Mariana Reva.
