Countering enemy drones and exposing evaders: how the day went by for border guards (VIDEO)
9 enemy FPV drones were neutralized by border guards in Zaporizhzhya direction. Targeted with anti-drone guns, the border guards smashed the enemy's unmanned aircraft. With her, the enemy tried to attack the positions of the defenders. Technological rifle operators skillfully silenced the signal of enemy FPV drones and changed their course.
And in the Chernihiv region, the border guards of the 105 border detachment named after Prince Vladimir the Great with the help of small arms successfully landed an enemy FPV drone. The sappers managed to defuse the explosive part. Now, after reprogramming, the drone kamikaze will return to its “owners” with an explosive surprise from the border guards.
Meanwhile, at the border with Hungary, border guards in a Renault minibus bound for Ukraine found four units of cold weapons. At the wheel of the car was a 60-year-old Transcarpathian.
Law enforcement officers found bundles of objects made of metal behind the driver's seat. When examining the contents of the package, the border guards found four units of cold weapons, the length of the blade of which was from 46 to 52 cm.
The relevant law enforcement agencies were informed about the find. The weapon and the minibus in which it was transported were seized.
In the actions of the driver there are signs of a criminal offense provided for in Article 201 of the Criminal Code “Smuggling of cultural values and weapons”.
In addition, the officers of the Chernivtsi Border Detachment received information that a group of men intends to illegally cross the state border at the site of the Kelmenets department. Violators had to get into a minibus at night, get to the border, and then illegally cross the border on foot.
A local resident agreed to help them realize such an idea. For delivery close to Moldova, the conductor set a price - from 6 to 10 thousand dollars for each passenger.
At a certain time, the violators went towards the border, but the border guards completely controlled their actions and stopped the car 300 meters from the state border. Violators did not respond to the demands of law enforcement officers, so they had to stop the car with warning shots.
As a result, border guards detained the driver and 10 men, residents of Chernivtsi, Ternopil and Kiev regions.
For malicious disobedience to the legal order of law enforcement officers, the driver was brought to administrative responsibility provided for in Art. 185-10 kUPap. In addition, a notification was sent to the National Police under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In total, on February 16, 63 thousand people and 16 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova (in the Chernivtsi region).
34 thousand people left Ukraine. 21 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
29 thousand people followed to Ukraine, 25 thousand of them are citizens of Ukraine.
