Border violators, freight forwarders and fake documents: the situation at the border (VIDEO)
The border guards of the Mukachevo detachment stopped seven violators on the border with Hungary. They were detected at night using a thermal imager. The attackers carried two rubber boats in their hands, with which they were going to sail through the Tisa.
Border guards arrived at the scene, but the violators tried to escape. However, after the warning shots, they stopped. The outfit detained all the fugitives, they turned out to be residents of six regions: Transcarpathian, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk and Rivne.
It turned out that the men used the services of forwarders, who had to pay between 4000 and 8,700 dollars. To clarify all the circumstances and draw up protocols on administrative offenses, Art. 204-1 KUPAP “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”.
Detainees were taken to border units. But the border guards of this detachment managed to detect another violator - a 22-year-old resident of Khmelnitsky. He tried to leave for Hungary on a passport document of an Italian citizen. The new moon admitted that he bought a fake passport for 8 thousand dollars.
The man was not allowed across the border. Border guards sent a message to the National Police in the Transcarpathian region about the presence in the actions of the Ukrainian of signs of a crime stipulated by Article 358 of the Criminal Code “Counterfeiting documents, seals, stamps, stamps,”. The offender was handed over to police officers.
Meanwhile, in the Odessa region, the border guards of the Podolsk detachment stopped a car in which there were four people. The driver and three passengers were aiming to cross the border illegally. Having previously agreed with the carrier, they headed to the border. The chauffeur valued his services at $6,000 each.
Violators planned to cross the state line on the Transnistrian segment of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border. In relation to passengers, protocols on administrative offenses under Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the Code of Civil Procedure “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine” have been drawn up, the cases are referred to the court.
In the actions of the carrier there are signs of a criminal offense, the responsibility for which is provided for by Article 332 of the Criminal Code “Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine”. The materials were sent to the National Police.
In total, on February 15, 52 thousand people and 14 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova (in the Chernivtsi region).
27 thousand people left Ukraine. 16 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
25 thousand people followed to Ukraine, 22 thousand of them - citizens of Ukraine.
