The police sent to the court the case of an official of the Russian army who deprived residents of the Kiev region
Investigators of the Department of the Organization for the Investigation of Crimes Committed in the Conditions of Armed Conflict, of the National Police of Ukraine have completed a pre-trial investigation against the head of food services in the army 93992 of the Russian Federation, who together with his subordinates appropriated the property of local residents during the interim occupation of the village of Bohdanivka, Brovary district. He faces imprisonment for up to 12 years.
The indictment against a 32-year-old Russian, the head of a unit of the Russian military unit, was sent to the court. It was established that in March 2022, together with his subordinates, having broken the fence with military equipment, broke into the territory of a private household in the village of Bohdanivka and took away the property of a local resident worth more than 1 million hryvnias.
Threatening the owner of the house with a vending machine, the Russians took him to another room and deprived him of his freedom, taking away the available funds, a mobile phone and gold products. Also, soldiers took 10 thousand US dollars, food and household goods from the victim's apartment building.
The head of the food service of the military unit of the Russian army is accused of violating the laws and customs of war according to Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation was conducted under the operational support of the SBU
and the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
