A criminal group consisting of five people operated in the territory of three regions. The attackers distributed “alpha-PvP”, amphetamine, methamphetamine and cannabis, which was sold across the country through “master clades”, bookmarks and mailings. Such illegal activities brought them more than half a million hryvnias of earnings every month.

The drug groups were exposed by the operatives of the Department for Combating Drug Crimes in Poltava Oblast together with the investigators of the Investigative Department of the GUNP in Poltava Oblast in cooperation with representatives of the territorial department of the State Bureau of Investigation and under the procedural guidance of the Poltava District Prosecutor's Office.

A 32-year-old native of Dnipropetrovsk region organized the drug business. He involved four more residents of different regions of the country between the ages of 20 and 27 in illegal activities. The attackers have established a clear scheme for the sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in particularly large sizes throughout the country.

They created and administered the Telegram Channel, where prohibited substances were offered for sale, pre-ordered in bulk batches online. Dealers offered “alpha-PvP”, amphetamine, methamphetamine and cannabis for sale.

They sold “goods” using the postal service and through bookmarks, and for regular customers they prepared special large bookmarks — “master classes” — with a set of various drugs and psychotropic drugs. The calculation was made by transfer to bank cards and e-wallets, and their monthly income exceeded 500 thousand hryvnias.

Law enforcement officers, with the strong support of the fighters of the special unit of BPOP GUNP in the Poltava region conducted a number of sanctioned simultaneous searches in the territory of Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Sumy regions, at the place of residence of the defendants, where they seized 8 kg of “Alfa-PVP”, 1.5 kg of fetamine, a kilogram of methamphetamine and cannabis, as well as packaging materials, electronic scales, weapons and money.

Everything removed is directed to expert research.

The estimated cost of seized banned substances at “black” market prices is about 10 million hryvnias.

Members of the drug group were notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues in particularly large quantities) and part 2 of Art. 306 (Use of funds obtained from the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The Kyiv District Court of Poltava chose preventive measures for them in the form of non-alternative detention. The issue of imposing arrest on their property is now being resolved.

For what he has done, he is threatened with up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Police continue to carry out measures to identify the remaining individuals who may be involved in the illegal activities of the drug group.
