Police officers of Ivano-Frankivsk region fulfilled the wish of a boy who dreams of becoming a law enforcement officer (VIDEO)

13-year-old Denis has undergone more than one operation, has undergone numerous rehabilitations and proves every day that little Ukrainians do not have the courage to borrow. The boy dreams of becoming a law enforcement officer. A few years ago, the child met the Precarpathian policemen and since then he has become a true friend for them.

Youth prevention staff always visit Denis and help his mother. And on the occasion of the young man's birthday, together with the employees of the department of the main inspection of the GUNP in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, they realized another dream of Denysk.

On the eve of his birthday, Denisko underwent another treatment in the Ivano-Frankivsk Children's Regional Hospital. The police decided to make a pleasant surprise to the boy. So they visited him with sweets, toys and gifts during his discharge from the medical institution.

“Denisko is our little friend. For the first time, the boy's mother approached us, who told us that a child with special educational needs dreams of becoming a police officer, and she asked to get involved somehow. It was 3 years ago and we ordered him a uniform, happy birthday. It was our first acquaintance. Since then, we are always in touch, we try to solve any needs and support the child,” said Alla Boichuk, head of the Department of Juvenile Prevention of the GUNP in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

The boy collects military chevrons and has long dreamed of a military uniform. So the police also made this child's dream come true.

“We reacted, we bought him a military uniform, we bought him military chevrons, he collects them. We will continue to help such children, we have several such families. And on an ongoing basis we will support them,” said Deputy Head of the Department of the Main Inspection of the GUNP in the Ivano-Frankivsk region Oleg Stepanenko.
