The readiness of educational institutions for the academic year is checked, - Denis Monastyrsky
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky informed about the preparation of educational institutions for training, as well as the observance of safety rules of shopping centers and other public facilities, in particular during air alarms.
“Now we are checking educational institutions, namely their readiness for the new school year. The relevant recommendations have been sent to the places, but I am convinced that today we are able to ensure the safety of children. Therefore, Ukrainians can return and continue to educate children in Ukraine,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Denis Monastyrsky noted that the main role rests with local authorities, which are responsible for the safety of schools, kindergartens and other educational institutions. He also added that special recommendations have been developed regarding the inspection of shopping centers and other facilities for their compliance with safety rules during air threats.
“In addition, on my behalf, the SNS has developed special recommendations for regional services to carry out inspections of civilian facilities for compliance with safety rules, in particular during air alarms. Together with representatives of military administrations, emergency workers will inspect shopping centers, sports halls, concert venues and other objects of public use,” the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said.
