Law enforcement officers of Kharkiv region reported the suspicion of a man who disseminated information about the location of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A 58-year-old resident of Kharkiv made a video recording of the consequences of shelling of a state-owned enterprise and the presence of soldiers and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the specified address. The man sent the captured materials to the enemy indicating the exact address of the location of Ukrainian servicemen.

The attacker has repeatedly spoken out in support of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. On his Facebook page, he disseminated information and posted about supporting the occupiers and their policies.

In December last year, an indictment was sent to the court on charges of a 58-year-old man with committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 436-2 (exoneration, recognition of lawfulness, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

At the moment, the police have collected an irrefutable evidence base of the Kharkiv citizen's involvement in the dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces. On January 24, he was informed of the suspicion of committing a crime stipulated in Part 2 of Article 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the direction, movement of weapons, weapons and military supplies to Ukraine, movement, movement or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under conditions of war or emergency) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The sanction of the article provides for 5 to 8 years in prison. The suspect was given a precautionary measure in the form of detention without the right to make bail.
