You can get an extract about the absence of a criminal record in a matter of minutes online
This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Bondarenko during the briefing “Digital services and projects of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the conditions of war” in the Ukraine-Ukrinform media center.
The Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed about the new digital tools that the Ministry is introducing for the convenience of citizens.
Igor Bondarenko spoke about changes in the service of obtaining a non-criminal record extract. Before the war, citizens were able to obtain a certificate of non-criminal record online, in particular, the relevant service was in the DIIA application. However, with the beginning of the Russian invasion, the state had to limit their work in order to protect its electronic resources.
“We have developed the service vytiah.mvs.gov.ua, through which citizens of Ukraine can safely, quickly and efficiently order an extract on prosecution, absence/presence of a criminal record or restrictions provided for by the criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine,” he said.
You can get the service quickly, just log in to the “Personal Account” with a qualified electronic signature and submit a request.
“Automatic processing of the request occurs quite quickly, in a matter of minutes an extract appears in the “Personal Account” in electronic form with a QR code, which makes it possible to check the validity of this document,” said Igor Bondarenko.
An extract on the absence of a criminal record may be needed for:
- implementation of adoption;
- registration of documents in social security agencies;
- issuance of visas for travel abroad and provision to institutions of foreign countries;
- registration for work;
- to participate in the procurement procedure, etc.
