Oleksiy Sergeev said that the Government supported the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko to establish a Coordination Headquarters for operational response and ensuring normal living conditions of the population. The headquarters consisted of 17 ministries, other central executive bodies and law enforcement agencies. The main objective of this headquarters is precisely to take coordinated and coordinated actions during shelling and to eliminate the consequences.
“We will take a number of measures to quickly carry out emergency and rescue work, other urgent measures to eliminate the consequences of shelling, ensure order, prevent crime in cities, districts, regions where there will be long blackouts. This is the increased number of uniforms of the National Police and the National Guard. Also, the approximation of the routes of their patrol to supermarkets, railway stations, railway stations and other objects of ensuring the livelihoods of the population. It is also important to protect critical infrastructure facilities and ensure the functioning of points of invulnerability, which are also established in the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system,” the Deputy Minister said.
In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service monitor the issues of the functioning of shelters, their availability and security on a daily basis. An electronic accounting of shelters is created and issues regarding their functioning are monitored.
“Inspections are carried out together with local state authorities and local self-government bodies on a daily basis. Deficiencies are identified and promptly eliminated,” he said.
