“Our goal is to return the Ukrainian territories captured by the invaders”, - the future sniper of the brigade “Fury”
The fighters of the newly created joint assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Fury” after the completion of the competitive selection stages undergo training in home medicine, fire and tactical training.
Before starting practical training, volunteers successfully overcame all stages of competitive selection for the assault brigade: testing the level of logical and analytical thinking and professional knowledge, military medical commission and checking the level of physical fitness and interview.
“I am 24 years old, I once served in the army and when I found out about recruiting for the newly formed assault brigade “Fury”, I immediately filed documents. Passed all stages of selection and started practical training. My future specialty is sniper, because I have the appropriate qualities - I am agile, hardy, able to concentrate, shoot accurately and have the skills that I gained during my service in the army. Our common goal is to defeat the enemy in the shortest possible time and return all captured Ukrainian lands,” said the volunteer of the unit “Schumacher”.
This is the first training group in Lviv region that started practical classes.
“All the trainees are motivated and focused, and the teachers try to identify the best qualities of each future fighter and develop them. We started with the basic disciplines — it is pre-medical, fire and tactical training. First of all, we will teach fighters to provide first aid to themselves — we are talking about bullet, knife and shrapnel wounds, then — to fire from the main types of weapons, which will certainly be necessary during combat tasks and tactical training — working in groups, cleaning rooms and completing complexes tasks. In the future, we will train other military wisdom,” said acting head of the Lviv Police Training Center, Major of Police Mykola Kopylchak.
