Established a “business” for the sale of drugs: in Lviv region police reported on suspicion of heroin seller
Operatives of strategic investigations in Lviv region, together with regional police investigators, found a 29-year-old resident of Dnipropetrovsk region who organized a “business” for the sale of drugs and precursors (alpha-PvP, heroin).
The dealer bought drugs and precursors in small batches, packaged them and sold them among drug addicts and others in a “hand-to-hand” method. The cost of one “dose” of heroin was UAH 2,000, and alpha-PvP — UAH 500. On average, the earnings of an attacker could be 50-60 thousand UAH per month.
The police detained the intruder in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine with another batch of ready-to-sell “goods”. During the examination, he found a bundle with a crystalline substance, which was sent for examination.
On the basis of the collected evidence, the seller of heroin and psychotropic substances was reported on suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The question of choosing a precautionary measure is being resolved.
For an offender committed, he may face up to ten years in prison with confiscation of property.
Currently, measures are continuing to identify the full circle of persons involved in illegal activities.
