The National Guard of Ukraine is truly an indispensable element of the Defense and Security Forces of our state, - President of Ukraine
This was stated by Volodymyr Zelensky during the evening video address on the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine noted:
🔹 Fighters of the “Storm” brigade: soldier Ruslan Turanov and lieutenant Dmitry Kalin.
🔹 Soldiers of the brigade “Spartan”: soldier Vladislav Romanchuk, senior soldier Yegor Golubin, sergeant Sergey Maryshev.
🔹 Soldiers of the “Frontier” brigade: soldier Arthur Mizin and junior lieutenant Ruslan Minchenko.
🔹 Warriors of the 5th Separate Slobozhanska Brigade: Senior Soldier Oleg Shumov, Sergeant Bogdan Keichin and Master Sergeant Oleg Miroshnichenko.
🔹 Soldiers of the brigade “Azov”: senior soldier Leonid Kubishkovsky and junior sergeants Mykola Galinsky and Bohdan Petrynyak.
🔹 Soldiers of the 18th Slavic Brigade: Sergeant Ruslan Khaimenov, Senior Sergeant Vladislav Sorok and Junior Lieutenant Artem Golubenko. 🔹 Special Purpose Center of the National Guard “Omega” — all soldiers.
The day before, the President signed a decree awarding the title Hero of Ukraine posthumously to the commander of the 1st detachment of the Omega Center to Colonel Andriy Pryimachenko.
