Four changes in the work of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are waiting for Ukrainians from June 1 — Bohdan Drapyaty
“We have identified four basic development vectors, the end result of which has clear measurement indicators. The philosophy of systemic change is the formation of values and principles of work, regardless of who is the leader and subject of authority. We base such a model of building and strengthening institutions as the basis for the formation of state policy and its implementation,” Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Bohdan Drapyaty told the Mirror of the Week in an interview.
He also added that from the first days in office of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko determined one of the key priorities — improving the work of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs by continuing digitalization, minimizing bureaucratic procedures, providing a choice of the method of obtaining services — online or offline. Therefore, the following changes will be made in the work of service centers:
“The first is to strengthen road safety by taking measures to eliminate, minimize sources of corruption risks associated with passing theoretical and practical exams for obtaining the right to drive vehicles; comprehensive improvement of technical control means. The second direction is the implementation of digital projects. In fact, it is an end-to-end tool for eradicating corruption risks, improving the quality of services, building trust in state bodies. The third direction of development is barrier-free. Work has already begun on adapting the main entrances to the buildings of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the needs of persons with disabilities and other low-mobility groups of the population. The fourth direction is the deepening of international cooperation”, - said the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
Bohdan Drapyaty is convinced that the implementation of these four strategic directions of development is quite real and requires the application of a balanced and integrated approach. However, this is not an exhaustive list of initiatives aimed at improving the work of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
