In Sumy region, community police officers received 29 service vehicles, - Yevhenii Yenin
These 29 cars will help POGAM to get closer to citizens. Security is a fundamental value that we provide to our citizens. First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevgeny Yenin wrote about it on his Facebook page.
“Together with the Head of the National Police Igor Klymenko, we handed over 29 cars for police officers of the communities of Sumy region. We also call them POG. The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Police tirelessly proves that security is a basic value that we provide to our citizens. Even in such difficult times for the economy, one of the minister's priority initiatives should be implemented. These 29 cars will help POGAM to get closer to citizens. It is not only about police functions, it is also about removing a fallen tree from the road or delivering a nurse to the sick, that is, about the priority needs of our citizens, which are related to security,” Yevgeny Yenin wrote.
The first deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs recalled that before the war, the level of trust in the POGs was about 70%.
“Now we are recording an increase in the trust of citizens in the police, which means that they have even more confidence in the officers of the community. During the meeting, by the way, the overwhelming number of community leaders thanked the police officers who stayed with the people in these dark times without betraying the oath. We continue to keep our responsibilities to the territorial communities, to our society, to every Ukrainian,” Yevhenii Yenin noted.
