In Odessa region, a 12-year-old girl cut her dog with a blade
Currently, the dog named Beck has been removed from the family and transferred to a shelter.
As you know, the other day, the police discovered a video on the network in which the girl injured the animal with a blade, causing bleeding. To establish the identity of the girl and the place of the incident, employees of the territorial units of the GUNP in the Odessa region, employees of the Criminal Analysis Department and the Department of Counter Cybercrime were involved.
The police quickly established that the video was a resident of the Podilsky district. At the place of her residence, they also found an animal. At the moment, she looks visually healthy.
“Law enforcement officers found out that the girl caused bodily harm to the dog, which the family at one time took from the street, two years ago. She filmed her actions on the phone and published in a closed telegram channel. At that time, the girl was 12 years old, that is, she did not reach the age from which criminal responsibility for the crime committed arises. Therefore, the police will petition the court for the application of educational measures against her,” said the head of the Podolsk district police department Oleg Zhukovsky.
Also, the police colonel noted that the minor is brought up in a full family, which has not previously fallen into the field of view of law enforcement officers and is characterized positively at the place of residence.
The mother explained that she had never noticed cruelty behind her daughter. They sheltered two dogs and took care of them. The girl herself said about her act that she repeated the actions she saw on the Internet.
Both dogs were taken from the family and transferred to a veterinarian for examination, and then to a shelter.
