In Bukovina, border guards stopped trying to violate the border with the EU
Recently, the border guards of the Chernivtsi detachment record an increase in attempts to illegally move tobacco products on the border of Ukraine with Romania and actively counteract offenses.
Thus, the border outfit of the Krasnoilsk department discovered a Nissan SUV near the Ukrainian-Romanian border. The request of the soldiers of the State Border Guard Service to stop was ignored by his driver. The vehicle continued to move towards the border crossing. The dangerous maneuver created a threat to the life and health of servicemen. The driver was not stopped by warning shots up and in the direction of the wheels of the car, which quickly disappeared from the scene.
Subsequently, law enforcement received information from the medical workers of the Storozhinets Central District about seeking help from a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the soft parts of his left arm. The health of the victim was satisfactory. Subsequently, at the address of his residence they found exactly that Nissan SUV without license plates.
The law enforcement agencies of the Chernivtsi region were informed about the incident to establish all the circumstances of the offense. The investigation is currently ongoing.
