Three drowners were found on the shore of Tisa
Last month in Transcarpathia, border guards from Ukraine, Hungary and Romania found bodies of men with no signs of life near the border three times.
In particular, in the evening of June 23, the border guards of the Mukachevo detachment received information from Hungarian colleagues about the discovery on the banks of the river Tisa, for their part, the body of a man without signs of life. In the direction of this place, the response team of the office of inspectors of the Bodalovo border service went, which, during the inspection of the border section from the Ukrainian side, found the body of another person in the water, 15 meters from the shore.
From the Ukrainian side of the river, the body of the man was taken by the employees of the State Emergency Service.
Also last Friday, June 30, Romanian colleagues reported the discovery of the body of a male person on the river bank opposite the area of responsibility of the office of inspectors of the border service “Solotvino”.
At the moment, law enforcement officers have already established the identity of one of the drowners, the identities of the other two and the causes of their deaths are being established.
In general, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, border guards found on both banks of the Tisa the bodies of 19 men who drowned while trying to cross the river.
