The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at a conference in Lithuania will share unique experience gained during wartime
Today, March 7, the conference “Integration of Armed Structures in National Defense” at the Lithuanian Military Academy started in Vilnius. The event is devoted to the discussion of Ukrainian experience in maintaining security and integrating armed structures into the national defense system of the country.
This is the first international conference during which representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will share unique developments in confronting the enemy. The speakers are representatives from the State Border Service, the National Guard and the National Police.
During the day, the parties will discuss the integration of paramilitary structures and units of internal affairs in national defense, cybercrime, Ukraine's experience in information management and hostile propaganda, as well as the role of the bodies and units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the defense capability of the state.
At the beginning of the event, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Agne Bilotaite expressed her gratitude to the representatives of the Ministries and assured of comprehensive support:
“Today, our goal at this conference is to take your experience. I believe that today's conference will help to better understand and provide different practices, deepen interinstitutional ties. We want to assure you that we are ready to support Ukraine on the path to European integration, we have been and will be with you. Ukraine and its brave people will surely win.”
