Law enforcement agencies will work around the clock to establish the causes of the disaster. The acting Minister of Internal Affairs - the head of the National Police Igor Klymenko, said about this on the air of the UA tele-marathon.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with other law enforcement agencies and the Office of the Attorney General, are doing everything possible to determine and establish in the near future why this disaster occurred. We will work day and night to give a clear answer to all questions,” said Igor Klymenko.

He also stressed that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine will continue to work so that the country experiences stable work of the ministry and security.

“To date, our main task is to continue the line of policy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which was initiated and successfully implemented by Minister Monastyrsky. We must complete all tasks in memory of our comrades. We will do everything — our staff of the Ministry, the National Police, the State Emergency Service, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Service, the Migration Service. We will do everything to ensure that the country works stably, and every citizen feels safe. We will do everything to make the country feel that we stand in its defense,” said Igor Klymenko.

Also Igor Klymenko expressed his condolences to the relatives of all those killed in today's disaster:

“This is a big loss for the entire staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We are all devastated at the moment, we have lost our professional leaders, our comrades. Part of a good team that, even during the martial law, performed the functions entrusted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. I want to express my condolences to the families of all those killed in today's disaster,” he said.

On January 18, during the performance of official duties, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky, his first deputy Yevhenii Yenin, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuri Lubkovych, Deputy Head of the Patronage Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Tatiana Shutyak, Head of the Department of Protection of the Department of Internal Affairs were killed in the performance of official duties NPU Security Lieutenant Colonel of Police Mikhail Pavlushko, Senior Operational Commissioner for Particularly Important Affairs of the Department of Internal Security of NPU Andriy Marynchenko, Chief Inspector of the Department of Communications of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Mykola Anatsky, commander of the aircraft - instructor of special purpose aviation squadron on helicopters Alexander Vasylenko, pilot of special purpose aviation squadron on helicopters Konstantin Kovalenko, flight mechanic of special purpose aviation squadron on helicopters ensign Ivan Kasyanovo V.

Also, as a result of this terrible tragedy, civilians were killed and injured, including children.
