International delivery of driver's license: 1800 Ukrainians abroad received the document
Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are working on the possibility of obtaining services abroad. After all, Ukrainians abroad need services for the exchange and renewal of a driver's license.
In the 2 months since the launch of this service, almost 1800 driver's licenses were ordered abroad. Online exchange of driver's license in the driver's electronic account is available in Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany and Italy.
The largest international delivery was ordered by Ukrainians to Poland - 1511 driver's licenses were sent.
To order international delivery, you need to log in to the driver's electronic account. Next, the reason for the exchange of the certificate is indicated, international delivery is chosen and the service is paid.
After that, the application is processed by the administrator of the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In case of approval, the finished document is sent to the address specified by the customer.
International delivery of a driver's license takes about 15 days. The approximate cost of a driver's license is 311 UAH per form and administrative service. Logistics costs by a postal carrier abroad will be - 960 UAH.
In the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs they remind that the driver's license data issued before 2013 are in the old register. Therefore, they are not displayed in the driver's electronic cabinet and Actions. In this case, it is impossible to exchange a driver's license online. Those citizens who are abroad should contact the State Enterprise “Dokument”. They are open in 7 countries: Poland Slovakia, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Turkey.
