Today, April 5, the Minister of Internal Affairs awarded the National Guards of a separate special detachment “Azov” with the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree, medals “For Military Service to Ukraine” and “Defender of the Fatherland”.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the participants jointly performed the National Anthem of Ukraine and honored the memory of the deceased brothers with a minute of silence.

“The great war of the Ukrainian people against the insidious enemy has been going on for many centuries. And this gap, which was unequal in our relations, we are the only ones in Europe able to cut out, and we cut every day,” the Minister of the Interior said in his welcoming speech.

However, in order to defeat the enemy, Ukraine daily loses its best fighters, including those from Azov. But the state remembers them all and is proud of their exploits. In particular, the Minister stressed that the unit “Azov” daily proves its dignity by defending our state.

First, Igor Klymenko posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree to the fallen fighter of a separate special detachment “Azov”, soldier Denisenko Vladislav Eduardovich. The son's award was received by mother Inna Alexandrovna and father Eduard Konstantinovich.

Further, the Minister of Internal Affairs awarded the present National Guardsmen the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree, the medals “For Military Service to Ukraine” and “Defender of the Fatherland”. He noted that the unit “Azov” is one of the best in the National Guard of Ukraine.

“You are a fully combat-capable, large unit. Complete in terms of technology and weapons. We are doing everything possible to date so that your stay in permanent deployment points is as effective as possible,” Ihor Klymenko stressed.
