Marauders in Kyiv region: law enforcement officers sent to court case against six Russian military
Law enforcement officers sent to court the case of six Russian servicemen who in March 2022 looted the property of residents of the village of Bogdanivka in the Kiev region.
In the course of the investigation, law enforcement officers collected the evidence base of the involvement in the war crime of four commanders of the anti-aircraft missile battery No. 6 of the tank regiment of the military unit N93992 of the Central Military District of the Russian Armed Forces and two anti-aircraft shooters of this unit.
According to the investigation, these Russian servicemen broke into the house in the village of Bogdanivka and stayed there. In the future, when they fled from Kyiv region, all valuable property was taken out of the apartment to BMP for more than 223 thousand hryvnias.
The Russian invaders filmed their crimes on a mobile phone in order to boast of “feats” in front of their co-servicemen and their relatives in Russia.
Later, during the forced escape from the territory of the Kiev region, one of the Russians forgot a flash drive with video recordings in his military jacket. This video became one of the proofs of the war crime of the occupiers.
On November 28, an indictment was sent to the Brovary City Court on the indictment of six Russian servicemen under Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the laws and customs of war by a previous conspiracy by a group of persons). The sanction of the article provides for up to 12 years in prison.
