The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said this during the tactical and special exercises of units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system with combat firing, which took place in the city of Pripyat, Kyiv region.

During the briefing, answering a question from a BBC journalist about protection against cyber attacks, the Minister of the Interior said that today Ukraine is ready to counter cyber threats. He stressed that the recent cyberattack was inspired by the Russian Federation, but the State Security Service and the Cyber Police are working daily to minimize these threats.

“We understand that this attack was organized by cyber forces of the Russian Federation. At the same time, 70 infrastructure objects of state institutions were attacked, but no data was lost and they did not pass into unwanted hands,” Denys Monastyrsky noted.

Recall that yesterday, February 4, guards, police and rescuers worked out actions during the emergence of a crisis situation and fighting in an urbanized area.
