“Each one of you is an example of courage and heroism”: Ihor Klymenko presents state awards to rescuers
Today, on June 14, Ihor Klymenko, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, presented state awards to the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine who perform tasks in the flashpoints of our country.
“You are among the first to arrive at the sites of shelling, rescue Ukrainians, extinguish fires, clear rubble, and evacuate people from the frontline. People are waiting for you and putting their trust in you because they know that you always deliver your work professionally and honorably. I appreciate your service,” – stressed the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, addressing the rescuers.
Thus, in recognition of their significant personal contribution to the protection of the population and territories from emergencies, conscientious performance of official duties, courage and bravery, dedication and high professionalism, the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree, the Order of Danylo Halytskyi, medals “For Impeccable Service” of the III degree and “To the Defender of the Fatherland”.
After the award ceremony, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine visited the fire station and the educational facilities where rescuers undergo training.
