Rehabilitation of soldiers, security in schools and the situation on the border: Kateryna Pavlichenko visited Chernihiv and Sumy region

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko visited Chernihiv and Sumy regions on a working visit. She talked with injured law enforcement officers, honored the best employees with awards, discussed the implementation of the project “Educational Security Service”.

In the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Chernihiv region, Ekaterina Pavlichenko awarded departmental awards to the officers of the regional police and patrol officers of the Chernihiv region for their personal courage and courage, steadfastness and determination in the performance of official duties.

“Thank you to each and every one for the fact that during the war you continue to stand up for law and order and help people. You are the first to go to the places of enemy shelling, from which the border of Chernihiv region suffers daily. Evacuate civilians, support and provide the necessary assistance to residents of frontline areas around the clock,” Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko addressed the police officers present.

In addition, in the departmental medical institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ekaterina Pavlichenko talked with doctors and patients - law enforcement officers who were wounded on the front line. The technical equipment of the hospital, the rehabilitation process, the issue of psychological support for wounded soldiers and their family members were discussed.

During her stay in Sumy region, Ekaterina Pavlichenko met with border guards, police officers and rescuers. 20 employees who distinguished themselves during the service received departmental awards.



Also, the Deputy Minister held a working meeting with the leadership of the Sumy Regional Military Administration and employees of the local education department. During the meeting, the issues of implementation and scaling of the project “Educational Security Service” were discussed.

“Sumy region has actively participated in this project, for which I am grateful to local authorities and educators. There are already police officers in 63 schools. I had the opportunity to visit several such schools and talk to the school administration. We received a lot of good feedback,” the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs summed up.

Ekaterina Pavlichenko stressed that today special attention is paid to the training of police officers, and the programs under which they are trained are constantly being improved.
