Yevgeny Yenin: A rocket strike on a nine-story residential building and recreation center is revenge for the release of O. Serpentine
Law enforcement officers have already opened criminal proceedings. This was stated during a briefing at the scene of the tragedy by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevgeny Yenin.
“We cannot otherwise qualify these actions as violations of the laws and rules of war. Accordingly, information on the specified event is submitted to the ERDR under Art. 438 of the Russian Federation. 2. Investigators have already begun to fix all the details of this terrible crime,” Yevgeny Yenin said.
He stressed that all law enforcement officers are working to identify the identity of each of those who gave orders to shoot and bomb the civilian population of Ukraine: “All of them will sooner or later be identified, found and prosecuted.”
The first deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs added that in his opinion, this is the revenge of the Russians for the island of Zmiiny liberated by Ukrainian troops.
Separately, Yevgeny Yenin noted that rescuers are very careful to disassemble the rubble, as there are chances that there may still be alive people on the territory of the recreation center.
“I want to thank our rescuers, they arrived at the scene 9 minutes after the shelling. Now they are extremely careful to continue dismantling the rubble. At least two more citizens could be on the territory of the recreation center. There is a chance that they may still be alive,” Yevgeny Yenin said.
Recall that on July 1, at about 01:00 in the village of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky district, as a result of a missile strike, a nine-story residential building was partially destroyed, 19 people were killed, 38 were injured. Also on July 1, at about 01:00 in the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky district of the Odessa region, a partial destruction of the three-storey and four-storey building of the recreation center occurred, as a result of which 3 people (including 1 child) died and 1 person was injured.
