Inna Yashchuk: Doctors are angels in white robes who have been saving our Heroes for 519 days

This was stated by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk during the award ceremony on the occasion of the Day of the Medical Worker.

At the beginning of the event, the participants jointly performed the Anthem of Ukraine and honored the memory of defenders who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Thus, for a significant personal contribution to the provision of qualified medical care and the preservation of the lives of citizens in conditions of martial law, selfless performance of professional duty, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk awarded medical workers the medal “Commendation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine” of the III degree and departmental incentive awards of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

“This year, for the first time in the history of independent Ukraine, we celebrate the Day of the Medical Worker according to our calendar. July 27 is a new date that forever breaks the link with criminals and murderers from the Russian Federation who are encroaching on the lives of our civilians and doctors. From the first day of the war in bomb shelters, in extremely difficult conditions, our doctors rescued and continue to save our Heroes. And from today we have our date of commemoration and commemoration of the doctors of Ukraine,” the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a congratulatory speech.

Inna Yashchuk noted the heroism of medical workers who, despite the constant attacks of the enemy, continue to perform their work and save lives:

“I want to convey to you the words of sincere gratitude and admiration from the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko, who is currently working in hot spots. You have been working tirelessly for 519 days without looking at the clock to save the lives of our fighters. This is true heroism, you can rightfully be called angels in white robes.”

In addition, the event was attended by representatives of the Swiss charitable association Free Ukraine, who handed over seven evacuation cars to the medical institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“We are grateful to the medical workers of Ukraine for their daily work. The whole world is inspired by the heroism of our country and the doctors who save thousands of lives. We understand that Ukraine needs support at the moment, which is why we are handing you these cars that can save more than one life,” said the president of the Free Ukraine association Anna Lysenko.

At the end of the event, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk visited the wounded soldiers and awarded them for their personal courage courage, steadfastness and determination in the performance of military duty of the Order of “Bogdan Khmelnytsky” of the III degree, “For Courage” III degrees and medals “For military service to Ukraine”.
