Individual license plates: how to order so as not to get refused
In the first four days, when the service of ordering individual license plates was resumed, the production of 289 sets was approved. Including 234 applications agreed in the Driver's Electronic Cabinet.
Individual license plates are unique. To do this, the functionality has a checkbox for checking the availability of a combination of characters. If the specified inscription has already been selected by another person for another vehicle, then the manufacture of such a layout will be impossible and the functionality will immediately notify the customer.
Nevertheless, there is a list of grounds for refusing to manufacture a set of individual license plates, when the administrator of the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reviews the application and can reject it.
Individual license plates cannot be identical or similar in outline to license plates issued during state or departmental registration of vehicles in Ukraine. On individual license plates, it is forbidden to use the letters of the Ukrainian and Latin alphabets at the same time, with the exception of the letters that match the inscription.
On individual license plates you can place letters - Ukrainian or Latin alphabet, numbers and even graphic elements. A graphic element can be added when ordering a layout offline in any service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And online it is not possible to add such an element, because to place the image you also need to provide documents confirming the right to produce copies of this author's work.
A digital state and a convenient state service are what Ukrainians are building even during the war. The main service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue to work on solutions that will simplify the receipt of public services.
