Igor Klymenko: “The whole team must now snatch this victory and expel the enemy from the territory of our state”
This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko in an interview with the TV marathon “United News”, answering the journalist's question about the first challenges in the post of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“I don't know yet what will be the hardest — from day one I knew that we had to keep the system in place after the terrible tragedy that befell the state and the Ministry of the Interior. Our team had to unite, adjust and move on,” the Minister said.
Because the war, he observed, and there was no time for rest or for transference. So the entire team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from the first day after his appointment, got involved.
“We have a wonderful team that has stood up since February 24 last year and has done everything possible and impossible for stability within the country. Today, the main thing is not to fail. Not to let down every citizen of Ukraine, not to let down the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Because the whole team must now, gnashing their teeth, snatch this victory and expel the enemy from the territory of our state,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko.
