“National guards, border guards, policemen and rescuers. All of them in the first hours of bad weather began to provide traffic, provide assistance to the victims, equip heating points,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine noted.
Rescuer unit Anatoly Stoyanov evacuated a pregnant woman. The crew of the policeman Vladimir Dubyna freed the bus with the children from the derailment. The National Guard with the nickname “Taras” together with his brothers reached the most remote areas on the BTR.

Today, the honors of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were awarded to those rescuers, policemen and soldiers who have just returned from duty - on highways, in cities and villages.
The units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue to work around the clock in difficult weather conditions in order to curb the effects of bad weather as soon as possible.
“This winter we are faced with challenges related not only to bad weather, but also to shelling by the occupiers. We have clear calculations of equipment, personnel, heating points. We know what to do. We know how to help,” Igor Klymenko stressed.
