What documents need to be prepared for admission to driving schools for people with disabilities
Today on the air of Socialny, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ekaterina Pavlichenko explained what documents need to be prepared for admission to driving schools for people with disabilities.
She said that in order to become a student of a driving school, it is necessary to prepare a package of documents. This is an application addressed to the director of the driving school, a copy of the passport, a 3.5x4.5 color photo and a copy of the TIN. Also, one of the most important documents for admission is a medical certificate, since persons who do not have medical contraindications for driving vehicles of category “B” are allowed to study in driving schools.
The deputy minister said that due to the war, the number of people with disabilities is growing not only among defenders and defenders, but also among civilians. At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs seeks to cover those people who have acquired a disability before the war, or who have a congenital disability and have long been intending to become a driver.
“That is why we have created not just driving schools, but a comprehensive public service that will contribute to the adaptation of this category of the population to driving vehicles. At the same time, we want to cover those people who have acquired a disability before the war or have a congenital disability and have long intended to become a driver,” said Kateryna Pavlichenko.
Recall that since last week, the first five driving schools for people with disabilities have opened in Ukraine. The project is implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs within the initiative of First Lady Elena Zelenska. Driving schools were opened on the basis of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kropyvnytskyi, Lviv and Dnipro.
