Today in the city. Kyiv held the last of six trainings organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund of Ukraine (UNFPA) and the National Police of Ukraine for line 102 operators, dispatchers and other employees of regular services of the National Police of Ukraine on training communication skills on domestic, gender and dental issues expressed violence in the context of the crisis caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

In total, in October-November of this year, 125 representatives and specialists of line 102 from all over Ukraine took part in the training, including from the territories where active hostilities and de-occupied territories are being conducted.

The problem of domestic violence during war does not become less important, sometimes even vice versa. As world practice shows, extreme situations only exacerbate the problems of people that have occurred before and generally increase the level of tolerance of society to violence as such.

It is the operators of line 102, the dispatchers who are the first to be contacted by a person in a situation of domestic violence. And it depends on them how timely and qualitatively the affected person will be provided with the necessary assistance.

Quality and professional provision of services in the field of combating domestic violence for the Ministry of Internal Affairs has always been and remains one of the priority tasks, to maintain and increase the level of communication with the population during the war is to maintain people's trust in state bodies and provide maximum assistance and support.
